A smokebox numberplate, 57445, from a Caledonian Railway modified 294 Class 0-6-0 No 576 built at St Rollox in November 1896, becoming LMS 17445 and BR 57445. It was at Polmadie by January 1935 and later Motherwell, Grangemouth and Stranraer where it remained for over twenty years until withdrawn on 6 August 1962. It was cut up at Inverurie Works by October 1962. The background has been repainted on the front of the plate, which is a St. Rollox casting. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
