A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 21824, 1917, from a Great Central Robinson type 2-8-0 built by NBL in January 1918 to Ministry of Munitions order for the Railway Operating Division of the Royal Engineers, ROD No 1847. Loaned to the GWR in October 1919, their No 3034, it returned to the ROD in February 1922 and was stored at Beachley. Acquired by the LNER it entered traffic in February 1924 as No 6276 and was renumbered 3758 in 1946, becoming BR 63758. Allocated to Doncaster by January 1948 and later Langwith Junction, Tuxford and Immingham from where it was withdrawn on 24 May 1962 and cut up at Gorton Works. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the front lightly cleaned but unpainted, wasting at bolt holes. (Postage Band: B)
