A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1928, CREWE, from a Hughs 2-6-0 Crab, 42788. Sheds included Heaton Mersey, Saltby, Gorton and Stockport, from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and scrapped at Central Wagon Co, Ince, Wigan, in spring 1965. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", the front lightly cleaned but unpainted. (Collect from Banbury Depot/Posted by Woodford Halse Office)
