A nameplate, WESTERN RULER, and its cabside numberplate D1050, from a BR D1000 Class (later Class 52), diesel hydraulic built at Crewe in January 1963, withdrawn on 6 April 1975, and cut up at BREL Swindon on 8 April 1976 having accumulated 1.176 million miles whilst in service. Cast aluminium characters on steel backplate, the nameplate 79"x8", the cabside 34¾"x9¾", the fronts repainted after purchase from BR Collectors Corner at Euston. (2) (Postage Band: N/A)
