A GWR signal box diagram, TREGARON STATION, 1909, from the Aberystwyth to Carmarthen route, drawn by Arthur Knight at the GWR S&T Department. The box was on the Manchester and Milford Railway which ran from Aberystwyth to Carmarthen The company was experiencing financial difficulties and the GWR took over in 1907, supplying a new diagram shortly after, the main change being the introduction of fixed distant signals on the approach to the station. The route closed to passengers in 1965, with milk traffic continuing for a number of years. A superb diagram, unaltered and in its original frame, 40½"x17½".
