A Vale of Clwyd Railway pocket watch by David Griffiths of Denbigh, No 3309. The dial is marked VCR and the back engraved LNWR A97 with the engraving VCR showing faintly. The company became part of the LNWR in 1867. A fine early example, complete with key. (Postage Band: B)
