A cab notice from a North Eastern Railway overhead wire electric locomotive built for the Shildon to Newport electrification scheme, No 10 NER, becoming LNER 6497 and BR 26509, withdrawn in August 1950. The notice instructs drivers on dealing with electric current failures. Although titled LNER, the notice is signed Vincent l Raven, Darlington, October 1915.
