A worksplate GRANT, RITCHIE & Co 408 of 1901. From a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to the Ministry of Munitions, Morecambe, Lancashire. Named JOHN. Later with Hargreaves Collieries Ltd, Habergham Sidings & Coke Ovens, Rose Grove, Burnley. Passed to the National Coal Board on nationalisation in January 1947. To Bank Hall Colliery 1951and finally to Huncoat Colliery, Accrington in March 1956. Scrapped May 1958. Cast brass, 10"x6", the front repainted.
