A South Eastern & Chatham Railway 14" dial fusee drop case wall clock in walnut veneer case with carved ears representing hop cones & leaves, beaded lower panel and mother of pearl insert surrounding lower case door key hole (locked), cast brass bezel, rear of case is branded SER 1, chain driven fusee movement is stamped SER & housed in square brass plates with turned pillars, anchor escapement, complete with pendulum, bob & winding key. A very handsome early & heavy clock with beautiful veneer & carving circa 1840. (Postage Band: N/A)
