A smokebox numberplate 69684, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T built by W. Beardmore, No 307 of 1927. LNER 2644, renumbered 9684 in 1946 and finally BR 69684. Allocated to Stratford in 1939, where it remained until withdrawn in August 1960 and scrapped at the adjacent works. The engine was known for working the Buntingford branch. The front repainted.
