A South African Railways cabside numberplate 1519 from a 3ft 6ins gauge Class 12R 4-8-2 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 20821, in 1915. The class were goods engines designed for coal traffic, originally Class 12 and re-classified to 12R after new boilers were fitted. All were withdrawn by 1984.
