A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY 306 KILMARNOCK 1888, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to the Clydesdale Iron & Steel Co Ltd, Mossend, Lanarkshire. Company taken over by Stewarts & Lloyds Ltd as their Clydesdale Steel & Tube Works. Later sold to the contractors Shanks & McEwan Ltd, Ardeer, Ayrshire and used between 1936-1937 on their contract to extend Stewarts & Lloyds Corby Works, Northamptonshire, where it was numbered 7. On completion of these works Shanks & McEwan took over operation of the slag works at Corby and the locomotive continued working there until scrapped sometime after June 1956.
