A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, 1205, DONCASTER, 1908, from a GNR Class J21 0-6-0 No 5 which became LNER J1 Class No 3005. It was renumbered 5004 in 1946 and became BR 65004. Allocated to New England by January 1948, it moved in April 1952 to Colwick from where it was withdrawn on 17 November 1952 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 17¼"x9½", the front lightly polished, the back stamped 5 and 3005. (Postage Band: C)
