A smokebox numberplate, 60929, from a LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 No 3656 built at Doncaster, Works No 1922, renumbered 929 in 1946, becoming BR 60929. It entered traffic at Doncaster in June 1941 moving the following month to York and later Darlington, Gateshead and Tweedmouth before finishing its days back at York from where it was withdrawn on 21 June 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge.
