A nameplate, WELLINGTON, with its SCHOOLS CLASS appendage below, from the Southern Railway V Class 4-4-0 No 902 built at Eastleigh in April 1930 and named after the College in Berkshire founded in 1853 as a living memorial to the Duke of Wellington, becoming BR 30902. A long time St Leonards engine, it finished its days at Nine Elms from where it was withdrawn on 29 December 1962 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Kettering. Cast brass, length 45", the front repainted. Buy this main line steam nameplate and we will deliver it promptly, free of charge, to an address in England, Scotland or Wales.
