A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63458, AW Co, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2 0-8-0 No 2301 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 49, in March 1921. It became LNER Q6 Class, still No 2301, and was renumbered 3458 in 1946, becoming BR 63458. Its BR sheds were Borough Gardens, Blaydon, Sunderland and Tyne Dock from where it was withdrawn in July 1967 and sold for scrap to Clayton & Davie at Dunston-on-Tyne. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
