A Metropolitan Railway destination board, MOORGATE ST / WEMBLEY PARK, enamel, length 33", original condition, some chips. These plates were carried on the front of Metropolitan Railway electric locomotives (and steam in some cases). They were recovered by the vendor from the cab of a Met Electric loco being scrpped at Thomas Wood, Beighton in the 1960s. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
