A nameplate THE INSTITUTION OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS from Class 86 86407, later 86607. This plate was unveiled at Crewe Station in July 1987 as part of the 150th anniversary of railways running through Crewe. The plate was removed in March 1997. Cast aluminium, 127 ½"x9 ¾", ex loco condition.
