A smokebox numberplate, 61111, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1111 built by the North British Locomotive Co, works No 25867, and allocated new to Darnall in December 1946, becoming BR 61111. Its later sheds were Leicester, Colwick, Woodford Halse, Kings Cross, Neasden, Stratford, Parkeston and finally back to Darnall from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge.
