A GWR cabside numberplate 6843 from a 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in October 1937 and named POULTON GRANGE after Poulton Grange Farm five miles east of Cirencester in Gloucestershire. Allocated to Tyseley by January 1948 and later Carmarthen, Goodwick and Llanelly from where it was withdrawn on 26 February 1964 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Morriston. Cast brass, the front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
