A worksplate, NORTH EASTERN REGION, 2042, DARLINGTON, 1948, from a LNER L1 Class 2-6-4T No 67724 which spent almost all its working life at Stratford apart from three weeks at Hitchin. Withdrawn from Stratford in September 1962, it was cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 13"x7½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
