A BR(NE) sign from Saltburn station, WAY OUT, ZETLAND HOTEL STRAIGHT AHEAD (with arrow), the reverse, WAY OUT, each (f/f), and attached with original lead strip and hangers, a couple of tiny blemishes each side, enamel, 36"x18", a unique sign. The Zetland was a North Eastern Railway Hotel, with its own private platform and small overall roof, the platform being a continuation of that at the main station. After the hotel's rail connection ceased to be used on a regular basis, this sign invited guests to walk down the long platform to the hotel. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
