A smokebox numberplate, 6805, from a GWR 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in September 1936 and named BROUGHTON GRANGE after the country house two miles west of Banbury. Its BR sheds included Cardiff Canton, St Philips Marsh, Swindon, Truro, Penzance, Laira and Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in March 1961 and cut up at Swindon Works. Ex loco condition.
