Locomotive registration plate, REGISTERED BY THE RAILWAY EXECUTIVE, No 72, 1952, from a 0-4-0ST built by Andrew Barclay, Works No 820, in 1898 and named PERRIN, which was owned by Joseph Perrin & Sons at Birkenhead. Registration authorised the loco to travel over nearby BR running lines and sidings. Cast iron, 11¾"x6", ex loco condition.
