A Turkish locomotive numberplate, from a Std Gauge 2-8-0 Turkish Rlys (TCDD) WW2-supply type S160 built by Baldwin 69823/1943, USATC no.2595. Stored at Treforest then shipped to Cherbourg Sept 1944 & worked on SNCF, sold to Turkey 1947, withdrawn about 197945191. Cast brass, 13¼"x6", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
