A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 7773, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS, from a LNER Class Y1 4-wheel locomotive built by Sentinel, their type C.E., Works No 6710, in December 1926, running number 8401. Renumbered 7773 in 1946 and 8131 by January 1951, it was allocated the BR number 68131 but this was never carried. Instead it entered Departmental Stock in August 1953 as Departmental No 39. Allocated new to Lowestoft C.E. Department and later Norwich and Cambridge, it was condemned in March 1963. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
