A works plate HUDSWELL CLARKE 768 of 1906. From a standard gauge 0-6-0ST named VULCAN, new to Partridge Jones & Co Ltd, for use on the Talywain colliery railways, Abersychan, Monmouthshire. Passed with the railway to the National Coal Board in January 1947 and scrapped in December 1955. Engraved brass, 11¾"x8", the front polished. (Postage Band: C)
