A nameplate, 222 SQUADRON, with BATTLE OF BRITAIN CLASS appendage below, together with its matching badge depicting the Natal Squadron crest of a wildebeeste and motto Pambili Bo which translates as Go Straight Ahead, from the (SR) Bulleid 4-6-2 light pacific No 34078 built at Brighton in July 1948 and named the following December. Allocated new to Ramsgate, by mid 1959 it had moved to Bricklayers Arms and in February 1961 moved to Exmouth Junction from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds at Morriston.
