A worksplate, NYDQUIST & HOLM 1063, 1915, from a standard gauge superheated 4-cylinder compound 4-6-2 built for SJ (Svensk Jarnvag), their Class F No 1203, one of a very successful class of eleven engines. Electrification saw them sold to Danish State Railways in 1937 as their Class E No E967, who were so impressed they had 25 built by Frichs. This engine withdrawn in the late 1960s. Cast brass, 11"x6½", the plate being a hinged coverplate carried on the cylinder steamchest, the hinges missing, the front repainted, the back marked DSB 2-C-1. (Postage Band: C)
