A locomotive nameplate, SALFORD HALL, from a BR(W) 6959 Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No 7922 built at Swindon in September 1950 and allocated new to Carmarthen. Its later sheds were Chester, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Stourbridge, Southall and Oxford from where it was withdrawn in December 1965 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport.
