A small London Transport target sign, WOOD GREEN, from the Piccadilly Line northern extension which opened in 1932, the station designed by Charles Holden. The sign is believed to have been mounted on the Passimeter office (a combined booking office and ticket barrier). Enamel, 14"x10¾", within its original bronze frame, superb condition. An exceptionally rare example. (Postage Band: D)
