Locomotive cast brass nameplate CHLOE JADE carried latterly by a standard gauge 0-6-0 diesel built by Rolls-Royce Ltd, Shrewsbury, No 10212 of 1966. This was the first Rolls-Royce diesel locomotive to be fitted with the DV8 engine and used for demonstration purposes until January 1971 when it was sold to the NCB for use at collieries in the Leicestershire and Warwickshire areas. Sold in 1988 To Thomas Hill (Rotherham) Ltd. Kilnhurst, South Yorkshire and used by them as a hire locomotive until sold in June 1994 to Lafarge Aggregates Ltd. Barrow-on-Soar rail loading terminal, Leicestershire where the nameplates were fitted. Scrapped on site at Barrow-on-Soar in February 2009, 28 1/2"x 4 1/4". (Postage Band: N/A)
