A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63349, DARLINGTON WORKS 1913, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2, LNER Q6 Class, 0-8-0 No 1261 built in April 1913, renumbered 3349 in 1946, becoming BR 63349. Allocated to Newport by January 1948 and later Stockton, Middlesbrough, Thornaby and West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn on 5 June 1966 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow at Blyth. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
