A worksplate, No 2128, DARLINGTON, 1950, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 No 43086 allocated new in November 1950 to New England where it spent most of its working life with brief spells at Melton Constable, March, Cambridge, Lincoln and finally back to New England from where it was withdrawn in December 1964 and sold for scrap to Kings at Norwich. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: C)
