A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 69817, GORTON WORKS, 1917, from a Great Central Railway Class N9, LNER A5 Class, 4-6-2T No 5373, renumbered 9817 in 1946, becoming BR 69817. Its BR sheds were Neasden, Grantham, Boston, Colwick and Gorton from where it was withdrawn in April 1960 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
