A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1930 HORWICH, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-0 No 13148, renumbered 2848 in 1934, becoming BR 42848. Its later sheds included Derby, Longsight, Edge Hill and Stockport from where it was withdrawn in March 1965 and sold for scrap to Wards at Beighton, Sheffield. Cast brass, 10½"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
