A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 7155, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS 1924, from a Great Eastern Railway 2-4-2T No 578 built at Stratford in April 1907 which became LNER F4 Class No 7578 and was renumbered 7155 in 1946, becoming BR 67155. It was re-boilered in October 1924 which the LNER classed as a rebuild. It spent its BR days at Malton from where it was withdrawn in August 1951 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
