A Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway handlamp, the side stamped MR Co, with embossed brass plates SOMERSET& DORSET JOINT RAILWAY, 8912, on the top and body. The lamp is an earlier Midland pattern with its original slide-in vessel, though it has a replacement burner for display purposes. Repainted. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
