A French worksplate, ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTION DU NORD DE LA FRANCE, BLANC-MISSERON, 163-1923, from a standard gauge 4-6-2 'Super Pacific' built for the Nord Railway of France and numbered 3.1226. Renumbered upon formation of the SNCF as 231C26. New to Lille-Fives depot in 1923 and withdrawn from there on 30/3/1962. Cast brass, 8¾"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
