A smokebox numberplate, 42670, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2670 built at Derby and allocated new to Stoke on 28 December 1942 and later Northampton, Stockport, Longsight and Springs Branch from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 December 1964 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Beighton on 7 October 1965. Ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
