A nameplate SIRIUS 2 from Hawthorn Leslie 3588 of 1924, a standard gauge 0-4-0 saddle tank new to the City of Leicester Gas Department for use at their Aylestone Gasworks, Leicester. Taken over by the East Midlands Gas Board in 1949 and scrapped on site by Berry of Leicester in 1958. Cast brass, length 29½". (Postage Band: D)
