An Irish cabside numberplate, 13, from a Northern Counties Committee 5ft 3ins gauge Class V 0-6-0 No 71 built at Derby in February 1923. It was almost immediately numbered temporarily X before receiving its final number 13 in April 1923. Reboilered at York Road in 1938 using the boiler from U Class No 72 and rebuilt in February 1953 and re-classified as V1. It was taken into Ulster Transport Authority stock following its formation in 1948, still as No 13, and was scrapped in August 1964. Cast brass, 16½"x9½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
