A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 2551, REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS, 1935, from a Great Eastern Railway Claude Hamilton Class 4-4-0 No 1840 built at Stratford in November 1906, becoming LNER D16 Class No 8840, renumbered 2551 in 1946, becoming BR 62551. It was rebuilt and reclassified to Class D16/3 in 1935. Its BR sheds were Kings Lynn and Cambridge with a final three years at Spital Bridge from where it was withdrawn on 16 July 1956 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted.
