A Chinese worksplate, 1960, the text translating as Railway Bureau Dalian Locomotive Workshop 1960 year (blank) month. It is not known to which loco it was fitted but the combination of 1960 and Dalian Works suggests it was very likely a Class JS 2-8-2. Cast iron, 21¼"x10¾", the front repainted.
