A worksplate, BRUSH TRACTION, 327, 1960, from a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel electric locomotive built in conjunction with Beyer Peacock, Works No 7874. New to Park Gate Iron and Steel Co, at Rotherham, Yorkshire, their No 81. The Company later became part of the British Steel Corporation. Scrapped in 1979. Cast aluminium, 9¾"x5¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
