A GWR cabside numberplate, 1380, from the ex North Pembrokeshire & Fishguard Railway 0-6-0ST named RINGING ROCK built by Manning Wardle & Co, Works No 630, in 1876. The GWR assumed control of the Railway in February 1898 and its three locomotives were taken over the following year when they acquired GWR numberplates. Ringing Rock was repaired at Swindon Works in September 1898 and sent to the West of England where it saw most of its GWR service. Rebuilt in December 1902 with a larger boiler and reduced cab, it was withdrawn from GWR stock and sold to the Bute Works Supply Co in November 1912 when its numberplates would have been removed. It was later sold to the Kent & East Sussex Railway where it became No 8 Hesperus and lasted until 1941. Cast brass, the front repainted, the top beading stamped ENGINE CLASS T, 0-6-0, A4, and the bottom beading BOILER CLASS YB. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
