A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1928 Crewe. Locos built at Crewe that year were LMS Class 5 2-6-0 Nos 13100-7 which were renumbered 2800-7 in 1934 and became BR 42800-7 and Class 4F 0-6-0 Nos 4447-56 which became BR 4447-56. Cast brass, 10½"x6", lightly cleaned but unpainted, a little wasting at the right fixing. (Postage Band: B)
