A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE, 2737, 1907 from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST named PRESTON No 3 new to U. A. Ritson & Sons Ltd, Preston Colliery, North Shields, Northumberland. Sold by June 1932 to James W. Ellis & Co. Ltd, Swalwell, County Durham. Sold in 1939 to The Horden Collieries Ltd, Horden Colliery, County Durham where it was named HORDEN No 4. To NCB with pit in January 1947 and loaned on various occasions to Blackhall Colliery. Scrapped at Horden by D. Sep Bowram Ltd of Gateshead June 1966. Cast brass, 13"x8½", in ex loco condition.
