A smokebox numberplate, 44250, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4250 built at Derby in 1926. At Rowsley by January 1935, its later sheds included Saltley, Toton, Heaton Mersey and Kirkby from where it was withdrawn during the week ending 8 May 1965 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Beighton on 14 July 1965. Ex loco condition. (Postage Band: D)
