A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN Ry Co, DONCASTER WORKS, 1184, 1908, from a GNR/LNER N1 Class 0-6-2T No 4559, renumbered 9439 in 1946, becoming BR 69439. Allocated new in January 1908 to Hornsey where it stayed until moving in 1951 to Bradford from where it was withdrawn in November 1955 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 17½"x9½", unpolished, the back stamped 4559 in two places. (Postage Band: C)
